In this role, you won’t just be turning wrenches on lawnmowers, you will diagnose and repair a sophisticated range of equipment, including generators, inverters, and professional-grade hydraulic rebar tools.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair generators, inverters, and specialized hydraulic rebar tools efficiently.
- Full-Cycle Service: Manage the repair process from intake and initial inspection to final testing and verification.
- Technical Precision: Resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system issues to meet strict product specifications.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate professionally with customers via phone or email regarding repair status, technical issues, and estimates.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming equipment for manufacturing trends or quality issues and document findings.
- Shop Stewardship: Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant workspace at all times.
- Collaboration: Work effectively across company departments to meet both internal goals and customer expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in equipment or tool repair (Small engine or generator experience strongly preferred).
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning and a general understanding of electrical systems/circuitry.
- Communication: Comfort interacting directly with customers and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, products, and repair methods.
- Operational Skills: Basic computer skills for documentation and repair tracking.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
